What type of ABC membership do you need?

U.S. Bolognese Breeder or Exhibitor Membership

Companion owners, breeders, and exhibitors follow the same membership application process by completing the ABC Membership Application and submitting dues through MemberPlanet or by mail. All applications are reviewed by the Board of Directors using the Membership Screening Criteria.

In addition, breeders and exhibitors must review and sign the Breeder/Exhibitor Code of Ethics, which outlines the responsibilities and standards expected of those actively breeding or exhibiting Bolognese dogs. Once membership is approved and a breeder wishes to be publicly listed, they may submit the ABC Breeder Directory Request Form to be included in the club’s breeder directory.

Please allow up to 30 days for the ABC Board of Directors to review and process membership applications. Applicants will be notified of approval via email.

Before applying for membership, please review the screening criteria and the applicable codes of conduct. If you are applying as a breeder or exhibitor, additional documents such as the Breeder/Exhibitor Code of Ethics must be completed and submitted with your membership application. The following documents outline the expectations, rights, and responsibilities of all members of the American Bolognese Club (ABC). Applicants are required to review these materials prior to submitting a membership application. These documents are in addition to the Constitution, Bylaws, and Code of Ethics/Breeder & Exhibitor Code of Ethics. By joining the ABC, members agree to uphold the standards, policies, and conduct guidelines contained within these documents and to support the preservation, protection, and ethical advancement of the Bolognese breed.

I love being a member! I enjoy looking at the photos of all the other totally adorable Bolos. Always makes my day. I enjoy being a part of a group who love their Bolos as much as I love mine. We are all over the moon about them! Maybe crazily so. Important information is also shared regarding health and well-being and challenges. Sometimes it takes a village when challenges arise and comfort and support is needed. I think I love the comradery here best. There is a lot of love, humor, and care shared here.
